Lochland Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Hastings, Nebraska.
The course was designed by David Gill. The first nine holes were completed and opened for play in 1962. The second nine was completed in 1965.
This course is a links-style design. The tree-lined fairways are rolling, and the large greens are fast and easy to three-putt. Water hazards come into play on five holes, including the finishing hole #18 (a favorite among locals). Sand bunkers have been incorporated into the designs of seventeen holes, so shot accuracy is at a premium.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,043 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,097 yards and plays to a par-of 68. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 547 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 181 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 425-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Lochland Golf Course is # 15, a 209 yard par-3.
